It amazes us to no end how many people will drive past signs of historic significance and never stop to read them. There's some real interesting info on most of these signs. This particular sign graces the entrance of the Arroyo Bridge that crosses the Clarion River several miles below Ridgway. We find ourselves standing on this bridge quite often for many different reasons. The last time we stood on this bridge we were taking pictures of a pair of Merganser Ducks but at the same time couldn't help but notice how the sun was illuminating the upriver side of the bridge. It was so beautiful the camera just couldn't begin to capture it. But Whoda' Thunk they would hold dances up on the deck of the old bridge! Simply amazing!
